The EarthCheck Program is widely regarded as the world’s most scientifically rigorous, focused on minimizing harmful emissions while supporting host communities. Secrets Huatulco strives to protect and preserve the local landscape through clean-ups and reforestation efforts at local beaches and in the Huatulco National Park. In addition, the resort is actively involved in local paper recycling programs and leads the Reciclón project for the Bahia de Huatulco region. Reciclón allows for the collection and proper management of electronic waste for the entire community.
